This Privacy Policy applies to the Artang Labs website at artanglabs.com only. It does not apply to Company Radar or Itera, which are separate products with their own Privacy Policies — see Section 4 below.
1. Who we are
Artang Labs is operated by Artang OÜ, Tallinn, Estonia. Contact: artanglabs@gmail.com.
2. Cookies & analytics
Functional — always active. We store your selected interface language (English, Estonian, or Russian) in your browser's local storage, under the key preferred_lang. This stays on your own device, is never transmitted to us, and does not require consent because it is strictly necessary for the site to remember your language choice.
Optional analytics — only after you choose. With your consent, this website uses Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use Artang Labs and to improve the site. Before you make a choice, and if you decline, Google Analytics does not load: no analytics script runs, no analytics cookies are set, and no measurement data is sent. If you accept, Google Analytics sets two first-party cookies on your device — _ga and _ga_P7J0H3YCE9 — used to distinguish visitors and measure visits; per Google's published documentation, cookies of this type are typically retained for up to two years. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time via "Cookie / Privacy settings" in the footer — withdrawing removes these cookies from your device and stops further measurement.
The legal basis for this optional analytics processing is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw your consent at any time via "Cookie / Privacy settings" in the footer; withdrawing does not affect the lawfulness of processing already carried out before you withdrew.
Google processes this analytics data on Artang Labs' behalf as our data processor. Because Artang OÜ is established in the European Economic Area, Google's Ads Data Processing Terms — which govern Google's processing of Google Analytics data — are automatically incorporated into our use of Google Analytics.
This processing may involve transferring data to the United States. Google relies on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (and, for Swiss or UK visitors, the corresponding Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or UK Extension) to safeguard these transfers, falling back to Standard Contractual Clauses where a Data Privacy Framework does not apply.
Artang Labs has separately selected a two-month retention period for user-level and event-level data within its Google Analytics 4 property. This is different from the _ga/_ga_P7J0H3YCE9 cookie lifetimes described above: it is a setting Artang Labs configured for its own analytics data, it does not affect standard aggregated reports, and it applies only to more detailed exploration and funnel-style reports that rely on unaggregated data.
We do not use Google Analytics, or any other analytics or tracking technology, for advertising or remarketing. This website has no contact forms. Apart from the optional analytics described above, we do not collect information directly through forms on this website.
3. Contact correspondence
If you email artanglabs@gmail.com, we use that correspondence to respond to your inquiry. We do not use support correspondence for marketing purposes unless you separately agree to that.
The legal basis for this processing is our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) in responding to communications, maintaining appropriate business records, and handling any follow-up questions or potential claims.
We retain ordinary correspondence for up to two years after your inquiry has been resolved or closed, unless a longer period is required by law, is reasonably necessary to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims, or reflects an ongoing contractual or business relationship.
This address is a Gmail mailbox — correspondence you send us is received and stored via Google's Gmail email service.
4. Our products
Company Radar and Itera are separate products built and operated by Artang Labs. Each product has its own data practices, functionality, and product-specific Privacy Policy, which is the authoritative source for how that product handles your data:

5. Your rights
This section covers three different situations:
- Website browsing: your language preference (Section 2) stays only in your own browser's local storage. We do not receive it, so there is nothing associated with ordinary browsing of this website for us to access, correct, or delete.
- Analytics: if you've consented to analytics, you can withdraw that consent at any time via "Cookie / Privacy settings" in the footer — this stops future analytics collection immediately.
- Contact correspondence: if you email artanglabs@gmail.com, we hold that correspondence, which may include your email address and any other personal data you choose to include in it. If you have a request regarding that correspondence — including access, correction, or deletion — contact us at the same address, artanglabs@gmail.com.
- Your rights under the GDPR: depending on what we actually process about you (see above), you may have the right to request access to, rectification of, or erasure of your data, to restrict or object to our processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time — withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before you withdrew. Not every right applies to every situation above: for example, there is nothing for us to access or delete regarding ordinary website browsing, since we never receive that data.
- Right to complain: you may lodge a complaint with the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (Andmekaitse Inspektsioon, www.aki.ee), or with the competent supervisory authority in your own EU/EEA country.
6. Governing law
This Policy is governed by the laws of Estonia and, where applicable, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The date below reflects the most recent revision.
